Tell us a little about yourself and your path to Tactel

I work as a UX designer and have been at Tactel for so long that I barely remember how it started :) But my journey began through an old classmate from Malmö University who had worked here, and the rest is history. What I find especially rewarding is creating simple, creative solutions to complex problems, preferably ones that feel intuitive to the user while adding a touch of 'wow'. Sharing ideas and bouncing thoughts off of colleagues is also a fun and educational part of the job.

What does a typical workday look like?

A typical day often starts with a tea or coffee, a breakfast roll, and our daily stand-up. That's where we sync on our work, bounce ideas around, and build on things together. The rest of the day is a mix of creative and varied design work, from developing and documenting solutions for new features to discussing design and giving and receiving feedback. In between, we enjoy the office rooftop terrace when the sun decides to show up. And if our team coach notices our energy starting to dip, some afternoon fika might very well appear ;)

And what about when you're not working?

I love spending time outdoors, at the stable with my horse, and being with family and friends. Since I spend most of my work day at a desk, I really appreciate getting active in my free time —whether that’s riding, exercising, or just being out in nature and my garden.

Any advice for someone who wants to work here?

If you are ambitious, enjoy creative challenges, and appreciate humility and a strong sense of community, Tactel is a truly wonderful place to work!
