Tell us a little about yourself and your path to Tactel
I work as an app developer in the amazing Team Carbon, which, among other things, builds the contact service for Telenor Norway. My home base has always been iOS, but one of the best things here is getting to "guest-star" on other platforms from time to time. I really love that variety. I joined Tactel in 2016. Actually, a former colleague tipped me off about an opening here, and I’m so glad I applied. Sometimes you just get lucky :)
What does a typical workday look like?
My day usually kicks off with coffee, breakfast, and plenty of banter with the colleagues. Then I put on some music, and the coding begins! What makes work extra special for me is the team. We’re a tight-knit group that really complements each other, and we have a lot of fun together—both inside and outside the office. There are plenty of after-works, Escape Rooms, and other fun stuff along the way. Honestly, it’s the team that makes me look forward to my job every single day.

What makes Tactel, Tactel?
For me, it’s without a doubt the focus on the people. It’s clear that Tactel truly wants to be a workplace where you can thrive and feel good, and I think they’ve succeeded incredibly well with that. And, of course, it doesn’t hurt that I get to work with such lovely colleagues too :)
And what about when you're not working?
When I’m off the clock, I spend a lot of time with my family, working on the house, playing football, and doing a bit of CrossFit when I have the time. I have a son and two bonus daughters, so life at home is pretty much always full speed ahead. We also love to travel, preferably to Thailand, but we also enjoy traveling around Sweden to catch a Hammarby match.
Any advice for someone who wants to work here?
Don’t hesitate! If you’re looking for a workplace with a great atmosphere, wonderful colleagues, and a place where people are truly the focus, then you’ve found the right spot.
