Tell us a little about yourself and your path to Tactel
I started at Tactel in 2018 and work as a developer on Arc, the 3D map service we’re building for in-flight entertainment systems. How I ended up here was a bit of a coincidence. I had never heard of Tactel before, but I stumbled upon a job ad that made me think it seemed like a modern workplace with fun projects. My gut feeling turned out to be right, and the rest is history :)
What does a typical workday look like?
Mornings are my favorite time of day. As soon as I arrive at the office, I grab a cup of coffee and start coding. I work on everything from bug fixes and new features to custom adaptations and further development. When I need a change of scenery, I like to move to the office massage chair. It's an unexpectedly great spot for reading documentation, reviewing code, or diving deep into a problem that needs solving. Of course, there's some chatting with colleagues along the way too :)

I love problem-solving. Playing detective, finding the root cause of a bug, or figuring out that final piece of the puzzle that brings the code together nicely.
What makes Tactel, Tactel?
For me, it's mostly about the people. There's a genuine desire to help each other out, to learn new things, and to do great things together. That combination, along with the pride in what we build, is something I really appreciate.
And what about when you're not working?
When I'm not working, I love experimenting in the kitchen, throwing pinecones into puddles with my son, swimming in the sea, or unwinding with Swedish relationship reality TV.
Any advice for someone who wants to work here?
If you enjoy learning new things, solving problems, and collaborating with others, you'll probably feel right at home here :)
