Tell us a little about yourself and your path to Tactel
My journey at Tactel began in 2022 when my husband and I decided to move from Umeå and settle down in Skåne. I had heard so many good things about Tactel and was happy to get the opportunity to join the Malmö office as a developer. Today, I have a dual role as Team Coach and Technical Lead for the Modular Interactive project, a flexible platform for designing and building in-flight entertainment systems.
What does a typical workday look like?
A big part of my day-to-day work is about making things easier, and clearing the path for the team. It could be anything from looking ahead and diving deep into technical requirements and architectural choices, to coordinating with our friends at Panasonic Avionics, and in the next moment focusing on our working methods and how we can collaborate even better. A fun and varied mix, if you ask me :)

What makes Tactel, Tactel?
For me, it’s really the people and the culture. There’s a wonderful down-to-earth feel here where everyone is kind and ready to help out, while we still hold high ambitions and love delivering great work together.
And what about when you're not working?
I have horses, so naturally many of my evenings are spent at the stable :) In recent years, I’ve also discovered a passion for gardening, and ever since our move to Skåne, my collection of dahlias and roses has grown more or less exponentially.
Any advice for someone who wants to work here?
Go for it! Be yourself and don’t be afraid to ask whenever you don’t understand something. It’s going to be a lot of fun!
