Tell us a little about yourself and your path to Tactel
When a former colleague contacted me about an opportunity at Tactel, the timing turned out to be just right. What I heard about the company caught my interest, so I took the chance to join. Today, I work as a Developer and Scrum Master in one of our teams. This means I get to combine coding and problem-solving with creating the right conditions for the team to move forward together on our projects.
What does a typical workday look like?
The workday begins with our daily stand-up, where we catch up on any questions or issues that need solving so everyone can keep moving forward. For the rest of the time, I focus on supporting my colleagues while also diving deep into code and technical challenges myself. I really enjoy getting completely immersed in problem-solving. The more innovation a solution requires, the more fun I find it.

What makes Tactel, Tactel?
Tactel feels like a family where people are at the center of everything. At the same time, there are plenty of opportunities to develop and find your own path. Another thing that makes Tactel special is the prominent place design has in our business. We have many skilled designers and put great care into the user experience. That’s something I believe distinguishes Tactel from many other workplaces I've been at.
And what about when you're not working?
When I’m not working, I prefer to spend time with my family. A large part of my free time is also dedicated to building, renovating, and taking care of our house and summer cottage. You could say there’s almost always a project in the works :)
