Tell us a little about yourself and your path to Tactel
I work as a DevOps Engineer for both Arc, our 3D map service, and Modular Interactive, our platform for in-flight entertainment systems. Tactel was actually my very first job after graduation. I spent a few years elsewhere before an opportunity to return came up in 2018. It felt like a perfect fit, so I applied for the position and I’ve been here ever since :)
What does a typical workday look like?
A big part of my role is making daily life a bit smoother for our developers by automating recurring tasks and improving our workflows. I spend a great portion of time diving into new processes that the teams need to adapt to, ensuring those transitions are as seamless as possible. On top of that, I troubleshoot installation issues and investigate anything that arises in our test environments or at customer sites.

I enjoy those moments when I can sit down with a warm cup of coffee and really dig into the root cause of a complex problem.
What makes Tactel, Tactel?
It’s the way we all support one another. Knowledge isn't siloed within one team; it’s shared freely whenever someone needs a hand. It creates a culture where you learn from each other every single day.
And what about when you're not working?
I love being outdoors and spending time with family and friends. One of the highlights of the year is Sweden Rock, where I get the perfect mix of music, great people, and plenty of time outside. At home, much of my spare time is dedicated to the garden and our home-grown vegetables. A great bonus is that a lot of what ends up in my lunchboxes actually comes straight from my own garden :)
Any advice for someone who wants to work here?
Be curious, ask questions, and don't be afraid to be yourself. That will take you a long way here.
